AARON & ASHTEN officially formed in April 2014. Their influence is wide and deep ranging from acoustic and folk rock to blues, jazz and R&B and it is evident in their original works - it's difficult to explain the genre, sort of "James Taylor meets Sade". Their original works are composed individually and collaboratively. Sometimes ASHTEN provides AARON with lyrics and he will crank out the music in a few hours or days. Up until recently, they produced, recorded and mixed their sound recordings in their home studio. They completed recording and mixing their first LP, VINTAGE, in April 2015 but were dissatisfied, so they went back into the studios to re-edit, rerecord and remix. They completed mastering in June 2015. VINTAGE is now available on iTunes, Spotify, iHeartReadio, Google Play and other sites. VINTAGE includes 8 of their original works.
AARON is pursuing studies in music business and music. He has been involved in music since the age of nine. He started as a trombonist in elementary school and continued until middle school. In high school, he started playing percussion and is the past drummer of Karma Points and The Aftershow. In recent years, he started playing piano, guitar and bass. Many of his original works have been composed either on guitar or piano. AARON's influences range from Bob Marley to Sade, the Commodores to Maroon 5, Tracy Chapman to Prince. AARON has been working on a solo project (AYZOBLANC) and has released a series of singles throughout the summer of 2017. You can find these works on his website www.ayzoblanc.com
AARON & ASHTEN
ASHTEN has been singing since before she could walk. She writes daily and her lyrics reflect her day-to-day life. Her writing style varies from deep and emotional content that relates to James Taylor and Bob Dylan to indie folk/pop, country and pop influences like artists Ingrid Michaelson, Mumford & Sons, Kacey Musgraves, Colbie Caillat and Fleetwood Mac. "I want the biggest and best opportunites for my brother and me. I refuse to stop at anything. Performing and writing is not only an outlet for me but it is also my passion. My work ethic is strong and I know I will receive what I work so diligently for as long as I remain focused and true to myself." ASHTEN is also currently working on a solo project with a planned release at the end of 2017.
